Empire Club Philosophy
Our goal is to build an environment that focuses on proper player development as well as enjoyment and passion for the game. Focusing on the right combination of skills at the appropriate stage in a players development will help them achieve their full potential.
About Our Programs
Programming is delivered through a progressive learn-to-play curriculum across age groups. Children learn best through participating in practice sessions as well as informal and formal games. The skills of skating, puck handling, passing and shooting are introduced in a progressive manner.
The first few years of hockey must be a positive experience full of fun and excitement. If the player has fun, develops the basics and builds confidence, there is a better chance they will go on to enjoy hockey for life.
The Empire season is structured in 2 phases:
1) Preparation and development
2) Regular Season
As everyone develops at a different pace, this allows us to place kids in age and ability appropriate groups, which is important for individual development.
